We Were Here Forever runs a delicate story too – but honestly, aside from being chased down by a Jester every now and then, it’s one that has gone well over our heads. You may also want to stick party chat on too as whilst the in-game comms works well, some of the puzzles can become a little frustrating.
With a walkie-talkie chat system in play, in theory you could well scour the depths of the online systems that power your gaming platform of choice, but we think that in order to really get the most from the game, you’ll want to team up with a buddy. Let us be clear – communication between you and your cooperative partner is utterly key to finding any success in We Were Here Forever. There are also a host of levers, buttons and pads to help these tests of the mind work. There are takes on old-school pipe puzzles, there are portals, there are mechanisms and there are light reflectors. Ultimately set-up as a series of escape rooms, We Were Here Forever is a brilliant puzzler, capable of throwing a whole host of differing options your way.
